| Who are HCRS Design and Consultancy? |
| Our design and
consultancy business is based in the picturesque village of West Linton,
near Edinburgh. We have many years experience in the IT sector and
since the company was formed in 1999, business has grown rapidly.
Our clients range from large international corporates to small local
businesses. Large or small, we aim to provide our clients with a high
quality service with competitive pricing along with a high level of
expertise and professionalism.

| What technologies do we use? |

In house we use Windows 2000 and Suse Linux Professional 7.3 as server platforms. Our workstations use Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP. We use the latest stable releases of Apache, PHP and MySQL and take advantage of new features as and when they are released. For web design we use Macromedia Studio MX which incorporates Dreamweaver MX, Fireworks MX and Flash MX. We also use a variety of photo manipulation and graphics packages dependant upon the task in hand. We have Oracle 9i database servers running on both Windows and Linux and our workstations have the Oracle 9i Developer toolset installed.
